This year Kései Pincze in Tokaj region was our selected wine cellar to host us during grape harvest season.
In Hungary autumn is the time for harvesting the grapes for new wines. From September to mainly November people come together on wineyards and collect the grapes, having great meals and drinking the old wine made in the previous years. Don’t hesitate to dive in one and get lost among winelovers! We made it!
The first weekend of October was he best time to visit the during harvest for 3 reasons: the weather was a little cooler, the grapes are ripe and everywhere is bustling with activity. That’s why wine harvest season takes place for about 2 months each year because wine grapes ripen at different rates.
